Soluble in hot water (@ 80-85ºC)
Dispersible in hot oil (@ 85-90ºC)

Description : Anionic o/w emulsifier, stabiliser

Benefits : Low concentration, soft and light textures, good stability at high temperatures

Applications (personal care) : skincare (body and facial care), suncare, baby care, mencare (shave and after-shave), color cosmetics

Uses : 1 - 3% (primary emulsifier) or 0,25 – 0,5% (co-emulsifier) Safe product up to 8,3% (CIR – Cosmetic Ingredient Review)

Formulation guidelines : to be added in the oil or water phase at 80-90ºC, recommended to add a quilting agent (to avoid heavy metals)

pH stability : 5 – 8

Storage conditions : under dry conditions in closed containers

Recommended re-test : 2 years
