Named for its scaly structure, from the Greek "lepidion" or "scale" and "lithos", meaning "stone", lepidolite is an enigmatic and
PRECIOUS STONE with sparkling violet highlights. The symbol of an equilibrium between sky (blue) and earth (red), it ensures a close link
between mind and senses when used in cosmetics. The final color of the rainbow, violet in all its shades conveys SPIRITUALITY; because
of this, lepidolite was the sacred stone of the Atlanteans and the essential component of their temples built on the famous isle of Atlas or Atlantis.
