Iscaguard DPM is a blend of methyl and propylparaben in propylene glycol, with the added benefit of diazolidinyl urea. The incorporation of diazolidinyl urea increases the headspace protection of many cosmetic products during storage, while further boosting the broad spectrum antimicrobial activity of the paraben blend.
Iscaguard DPM can be processed at temperatures up to 60 °C, but only for brief periods.
It is recommended, where possible, that the temperature is kept below 40 °C.
Not to be used in leave-on products designed for application on the nappy area of
children under 3 years of age.
